Directions for use:

  • Wash 1 part of rice in water, thoroughly.
  • Soak the rice in clean water for 1 hour.
  • In a pressure cooker, add 1 part rice to 1 part water.
  • Pressure cook the rice on a high flame.
  • Lower the flame after the first whistle and continue cooking for about 10 minutes.

(You could also use red rice to make curd rice, dosa, idli, appam, idiappam, neer dosa and more!)
