Millet Salad

Ingredients

For  Salad

  • Little millet: 100gms

  • Lolorossa lettuce: 50gms

  • Romaine lettuce: 50gms

  • Cherry tomatoes: 4 nos

  • White onions: 1/2 no.

  • Pomegranate: 1/4 no.

  • Pimentos (Red/Green/Yellow): 1/2 each

 

For Dressing

  • Olive oil: 4 tbsp

  • Balsamic vinegar: 1 tbsp

  • Red Wine vinegar: 3 tbsp

  • Honey: 1 tbsp.

  • Dried oregano: 1/4tsp

  • Chilli flakes: 1/3 tsp

  • Garlic: 4-6 Cloves

  • Salt: 1/2 tsp

Preparation

  1. Prepare the dressing a day prior for the flavours to blend in.

  2. Crush garlic and add all the other ingredients in a glass bottle.

  3. Wash, dry and tear lettuce leaves.cut pimentos, slice tomatoes and onions.

  4. Add cooked millet and drizzle in the dressing.
