Mixed Millet Idli

Ingredients

  • Organic Foxtail Millet: ¼ Cup

  • Organic Little Millet: ¼ Cup

  • Organic Barnyard Millet: ¼ cup

     

  • Organic Kodo Millet: ¼ Cup

  • Organic Urad Dal White Whole: ½ Cup

  • Himalayan Pink Salt: ½ teaspoon

Preparation

  1. Soak Millets and Dal Separately for a minimum of 4 hours,

  2. Rinse and grind together with 1 cup of water and let it ferment for 8 hours.

  3. Add salt only after fermenting.

  4. Prepare idlis in idli steamer, let it cook till they get the soft texture and then serve it hot with chutney or sambar.
