For use in the dietary management of Methylmalonic Acidemia/Propionic Acidemia.

Administration guidelines:

• The dosage is to be determined by your physician or dietitian. It depends on the age, weight and medical condition of the patient
• The diet should include natural protein, water and other nutrients in prescribed quantities. This is to supply the restricted amino acids to avoid further complications.
• Foods high in carbohydrate and fat, but low in protein, should be provided to maintain or gain weight.

Direction for preparation and use:

• Proper hygiene, handling and storage are important when preparing the reconstituted feed. Failure to follow these directions could result in severe harm.
• As per physician’s direction you need to use cooled, boiled drinking water for mixing.
• Wash your hands. Pour prescribed amount of water into clean container. Add prescribed amount of Balance Metanutrition powder. Stir well for 10 – 15 seconds.
• Consume immediately. Feed should be consumed within one hour or discard.

Storage:

Store in cool and dry place away from strong odour and sunlight. Keep the lid tightly closed.
