Chia Nutty Delite is a healthy no-cook snack that will take your child just a few minutes to make yet will give them the energy they need to keep them fueled till the next meal.
So what makes them so amazing? A combination of oats, peanut butter and chia seeds make each Chia Nutty Delight a powerhouse of nutrients, filled with protein, fiber and healthy fats.
And best of all, the taste sooo yummylicious!
To make this even more fun for children get them to add ingredients of their choice. Choose from nutritious nuts and seeds of their choice: sunflower seeds, raisins, dates, apricots and dry fruits. And maybe even throw in some chocolate chips or chocolate coated nuts/seeds. Most of all, have fun!
- 1 cup oats
- 1/4 cup Natural Honey
- 1/4 cup peanut butter
- 2 tbsp Organic Chia seeds
- 1/4 tsp vanilla
- Add-ons of your choice
- 1 large bowl with a cover (you can use cling film)
- 1 large platter
- 1 large ladle/serving spoon
- In a big bowl mix all the ingredients well
- Cover and refrigerate for 20 minutes.
- Shape into bullets.
