
Kodo Millet Payasam Ingredients:
- 150 g Fileds of Gold Organic Kodo millet (soak for an hour before use)
- 250 g Fields of Gold Organic Jaggery
- 250 ml milk
- 4-5 threads saffron (dissolve in warm milk and keep)
- 50 g raisins and dry fruits like Fields of Gold Organic Cashew, Fields of Gold Organic Almond, pista
- 30 ml ghee
Preparation Method:
- Cook together Kodo millet, saffron, and milk on slow heat until the millet is soft and mashed
- Stir in jaggery and saffron and mix gently
- Heat ghee in a pan add all dry fruits and roast until golden colour and add to the cooked payasam
- Served hot or cold
