Kodo Millet Adai

Ingredients

For washing and soaking:

For adai:

  • 1 small onion

  • 1-2 green chillies

  • 1 tsp ginger

  • 1-2 tbsp coriander leaves

  • Pristine Himalayan Pink Salt to taste

  • Oil for frying

Preparation

  1. Wash and soak the millets and dals for 4 hours

  2. Drain water from the grains (millet and dals) and grind coarsely in a mixer-grinder. It should be of a slightly thicker consistency than dosa batter

  3. Add the chopped onion, chillies, ginger, coriander leaves and salt to taste

  4. Heat a pan/tawa, grease with little oil, and cook till golden brown and crisp-edged
