Ingredients
150 g Fields of Gold Organic Kodo millet (soak for an hour before use)
250 ml milk
4-5 threads saffron (dissolve in warm milk and keep)
50 g raisins and dry fruits like cashew, almond, pista
30 ml ghee
Preparation
Cook together Kodo millet, saffron, and milk on slow heat until the millet is soft and mashed
Stir in jaggery and saffron and mix gently
Heat ghee in a pan add all dry fruits and roast until golden colour and add to the cooked payasam
Served hot or cold
